Health Screening

Staying healthy is extraordinarily important to our members. Through routine screenings, members are able to monitor their health and detect any physiological changes to allow for early detection of changes in wellness. At LECOM Center for Health and Aging, we offer and array of Health and Wellness services that aid in this detection, routine screenings being one of those.

The measurement of vital signs can be early flag raisers regarding the development of disease. These measurements and assessments indicate the body’s reaction to the normal and abnormal processes occurring in the body. Periodic screenings are an essential component of preventative healthcare. Our team of experienced nurses will gather this information and compile it to an easy to understand format. Depending on results, members are referred to their own physicians for follow-up. However, if they do not have a primary care physician, a referral list of physicians is provided.
